Please Monash Council, may we have some Green Space?

Green Waverley: the healthy alternative

At the Monash Council meeting on Tuesday 24 February the Council will vote on a recommendation that the EOI process to development the Central Car Park in Glen Waverley to be postponed until later this year. The recommendation could be amended to include US, the community, as active participants in planning OUR neighbourhood.

In 2014 the Glen Waverley Activity Structure Plan anticipated high rise development on the car park site: see diagram below.

We have a vision of a peoples’ space in Glen Waverley.  A healthier lifestyle for those living, working in or visiting the centre;  an environmentally friendly proposal.
